Urban Water Management Sweden AB provides services within strategic planning and development of water and wastewater systems based on a comprehensive approach to service delivery and sustainability. With this approach, we see water and wastewater systems as more than just infrastructure, and thus include aspects of organisational responsibilities, management and public involvement. Assessment of these different aspects of sustainability is the heart of the Urban Water approach, forming the basis for strategic planning and governance of urban water and wastewater systems. In this way we work to assure that future water and wastewater systems will contribute to a more sustainable urban environment.

The project database contains nearly 400 sanitation projects of many different organizations dealing with research, implementation, advocacy, capacity development etc. Advanced filtering functions and a global map are also available. Information on how and why this database was created is here.
