To train a new generation of sanitation professionals
Current global trend is gradually moving towards new approaches on sanitation including non-sewered sanitation and fecal sludge management. However, number of trained professionals in the sector is still limited. There is huge gap between the demand and supply in terms of service providers or professionals. To reduce the gap this investment has been developed to start a New Professionals Master of Science Program in Sanitation. The course will be designed and implemented by UNESCO-IHE together with more than eight academic partners from different countries. The course will be a unique, internationally recognized, fully accredited program designed for 12 months. The program is intended to start in May 2018 will run for five years.
