To fund pilot projects in member municipalities and empower francophone cities in the fields of sanitation, family planning and emergency response
The investment will enable the Association to respond to a growing political demand, cultivated jointly with the foundation by supporting a number of pilot projects in demonstration cities. It will support both PSTs in replicating their work in additional cities (UHRI and non-sewer approaches), increasing the people reached in response to growing urban demand. It will also help provide additional exemplars for other cities to follow and enable deeper engagement with the Association and its network of political and technical stakeholders at a city level
To complement on-going advocacy engagements with the Association to inform and engage Francophone Mayors on issues of family planning and sanitation
