'Compost' is a living material containing many beneficial bacteria and fungi. It has important properties which are valuable for plant growth. Toilet materials (urine and faeces) can be transferred to compost heaps for processing.
The compost derived from ecological toilets is generally a valuable material which can enhance the production of vegetables and other important crops.
