The Economics of Sanitation Initiative (ESI) Phase 2 presents a detailed cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of sanitation interventions. It provides a comprehensive analysis at household level in three cities and two rural districts in Indonesia. With its quantitative and qualitative evidence, it
strengthens arguments to mainstream sanitation in the national development agenda. The study results are expected to enhance political support for sanitation development.
