This library entry contains background documents for a grant that Arthur Mumtaz is leading and which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The purpose of the project is to further develop an innovative system for on-site processing of human waste so that it is safer, more affordable, and more available to all, especially the poor.
