The World Environment Day 2022 was celebrated by many institutions through various on-ground and digital campaigns. A week-long campaign starting from June 7-June 13, 2022, was organized by the above-mentioned organizations and departments to spread environmental awareness, effectively imparting climate change education and building advocacy on issues of climate change and environmental sustainability. The aim of the program was largely to engage young advocates, hear their voices on matters of climate change & environmental policies as well as partner with youth clubs and organizations, who are actively and rigorously working towards mitigating the effects of climate change through small-scale interventions. The youngest stakeholder group was engaged in the campaign, to empower these agents of change, build their capacities, support them to execute their innovative solutions for mitigating the climate crisis and to create a platform for interface between government authorities and the youth.
