Content - Summary

This reader of the Water Symposium “Financing Sanitation” in October 2009 in Frankfurt contains articles including recommendations for development banks, comments and discussion points from the different sessions of the symposium. The event was an excellent occasion for an exchange of knowledge and practical experiences. The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the French Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD) joined the KfW Entwicklungsbank in organising this event, which sent a clear signal to prioritize sanitation. High level experts and experienced practitioners showed realistic ways forward.
