Water stress, either caused by droughts, competing water uses or hydrological conditions is an important driver for an efficient water management by all water users. This applies to many regions across the world. Water reclamation and reuse is the key strategy to cope with these problems.
The thematic framework of the 12th IWA International Conference on Water Reclamation and Reuse will address the full range of topics related to water reclamation and reuse. The event brings together experts from research and development, solution providers and application.
An intensive exchange is provided by the programme scheme: 3.5 days’ of oral/poster presentations, workshops and exhibition will be followed by one day of technical tours. It is innovation and solution focused by addressing water stress from three different perspectives:
•Plenary sessions will open the conference days. Outstanding experts will address key topics in water reuse, before the community splits into thematic lecture sessions.
•All posters will be displayed permanently during the whole conference in the networking area and will be accompanied by an award for the best Young Water Reuse Professionals poster.
•The trade exhibition will complete in the networking area as the conference communication hub. For the final conference day several technical tours in and around Berlin are actually in preparation.
