AMCOW advocacy role on issues of water and sanitation in Africa presents a backdrop to support citizens/residents during this pandemic with relevant information and knowledge of agreed best practices that can help them stay safe.

The presentation titled “Improving hygiene services, the foundation for strengthening public health,” is, therefore, organized by AMCOW as one of its series of webinars to inform and educate its constituents, partners and member states on how to strengthen public health in this time of the pandemic.

The project database contains nearly 400 sanitation projects of many different organizations dealing with research, implementation, advocacy, capacity development etc. Advanced filtering functions and a global map are also available. Information on how and why this database was created is here.
