The India Sanitation Annual Conclave is a high-level summit with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and WASH Value Chain as the core working areas. The ISC- FICCI Sanitation Awards, instituted for the fourth consecutive year (2020), showcases the wide range of talent and work in the sanitation sector that has made a significant impact on the development horizon of India.

Further Description / Program

The COVID-19 pandemic has taught lifetime lessons to the entire world and through the virtual webinars, we will be having insightful conversations around various topics like hygiene and sanitation in schools and post-pandemic preparedness.
These awards matter because they recognize both the key actors and sector practitioners besides the programme stakeholders and the companies / institutions that are innovating and adapting at a time of unprecedented developmental change in India. Besides, the coalition is privileged that the renowned scientist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Dr R.A. Mashelkar continues to be the jury chair for the ISC-FICCI Awards.
There are following nine categories of ISC-FICCI Sanitation Awards 2020:

•Best Non-Profit engagement Model in Sanitation
•Best Communication in Sanitation
•Best Financial Accessibility Model in Sanitation
•Best Engagement Model in Sanitation by a Social Enterprise
•Special Recognition Award for Government
•Best Faecal Sludge and Septage Management (FSSM) - Urban & Rural
•Best Skilling Initiative for Sanitation
•Excellence on Work for Upliftment of Sanitation Workers
