The 25th Global WASH Cluster Annual Meeting which will be an interactive event, will be held online from 19th to 30th of April 2021 and the theme will be: Responding to crises: changing climate and evolving pandemics
The first week will focus on the GWC Main Event. For this year’s meeting and given the new landscape of virtual events we will focus on key themes related to sectoral strategies, coordination and partnerships. This will be hosted via a series of short 2-hour online sessions.
The second week will be dedicated to GWC Satellite Events where partners, national Cluster Coordination platforms and technical working groups will have the opportunity to showcase innovations and key stories from the field. More details on participation and submission of abstracts will be shared in January 2021.
Abstract submission:
Applications will be considered outside these but proposals on the following themes are encouraged:
• Environmental health response to climate change
• Environmental health response and surveillance in disease outbreaks (including COVID19, cholera, Ebola)
• Changing the behaviour of communities and implementers
• Inclusive WASH (including women, girls, people with disabilities and older adults)
• WASH and undernutrition
