El coronavirus COVID-19 está causando estragos en la economía y los sistemas de salud a nivel global, el COVID-19 llegó al continente Latinoamericano una de las regiones más afectadas por el covid-19, existe una brecha grande en el acceso a servicios básicos de agua, saneamiento e higiene, lo cual se debe, entre muchos otros factores, a la baja priorización de estos servicios tanto en inversiones de capital como en la operación y mantenimiento a largo plazo. En este sentido el COVID-19 ha enfatizado la urgente necesidad de proveer y promover el acceso a estos servicios para toda la población.

¿Qué se espera alcanzar con el panel? En esta webinar compartiremos ejemplos de soluciones y acciones en situación de Pandemia con COVID 19, campaña Nicaragua Saludable y la iniciativa de Análisis de los retos de los CAPS para garantizar la sostenibilidad de los servicios de agua potable en el contexto de COVID 19 y gestión de Desastres, acciones de de inclusión y acceso a WASH de grupos vulnerables en situación de calle en México y finalmente situación WASH relacionado a Covid 19 en Argentina, todas estas acciones mostraran el contexto y las
acciones de la región Latinoamericana.

The COVID-19 coronavirus is wreaking havoc on the economy and health systems globally. COVID-19 reached the Latin American continent, one of the regions most affected by COVID-19, there is a large gap in access to basic water, sanitation and hygiene services, which is due, among many other factors, to the low prioritization of these services both in capital investments and in long-term operation and maintenance.
