Despite progress in access to sanitation across the East Asia and Pacific region in recent years, over 360 million people still do not have access to basic sanitation services. Sustainable Development Goal 6 calls for safe sanitation for all by 2030. With this background, UNICEF is organizing a Regional Sanitation Expo for Thai companies and stakeholders in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Technologies, SCG and Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The event is intended to explore and exchange innovative sanitation solutions with government, non-governmental, community and private sector actors. The event will showcase progress in Thailand and provide a platform to exchange and share with other countries experiences with the goal of expanding private sector interest and engagement towards achieving safe sanitation for everyone, everywhere.
On 24 June 2021, participants will have the option to join one of 4 ‘virtual field visits.’ Participants are requested to register in advance for their desired visit. More information is provided in the links below.
