A SuSanA Meeting will take place on the sidelines of the AfWA Congress and FSM7 Conference in Abidjan. The event will consist of a brainstorming session to discuss and strategize on the future of SuSanA, followed by a convivial Meet-Up at the rooftop bar Mandjaro.

Further Description / Program

The event will consist of two distinct parts. We will first start with a strategy meeting where we will offer the opportunity to members and friends of SuSanA to exchange on the future role of SuSanA, its position and potential in the sector, with a specific focus on its key feature: the SuSanA Forum. We will then leave the meeting room and head to the roof terrace to continue the discussions, get to know each other over a drink or two and enjoy the view. Please note that drinks and food at the rooftop bar are on self-pay basis.

Part 1: Strategy meeting

The SuSanA informal strategy meeting will be held from 18.30 to 20.30 in the La Carrée meeting room located in the Ivoire Trade Center. The agenda of the meeting is as follows:

18:30 –18:45 Welcome and introduction of participants
18:45 – 19:00 Short intro of SuSanA and latest updates
19:00 – 19:45 What are the future roles of SuSanA and how best to position it in the sector? Which funds to target? (follow-up on the outcomes of the last SuSanA strategy meeting in Stockholm)
19:45 – 20:30 How can open discussion platforms like SuSanA Forum best contribute to the sector and achievement of SDG6?

Part 2: Informal Meet-Up

The SuSanA Meet-Up will officially start from 20:30 at the rooftop bar Mandjaro located in the Ivoire Trade Center, but for those who do not want to attend the strategy meeting, feel free to meet earlier and warm up the seats for the rest of us.
