20th Sanitation Community of Practice (SanCoP) Meeting: “Inclusion in global sanitation and hygiene services knowledge, practice, gaps and emerging issues"
The 20th SanCoP meeting was kindly hosted by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine on Thursday 23rd November. The meeting's focus was on inclusion in relation to Menopause, Incontinence, LGBTI, Inclusion in emergencies, Menstrual Hygiene Management, Disabilities and Gender.
While the global sanitation and hygiene sector has come a long way in addressing inclusion for access there is still much to be done to improve services for users. The evidence around what works and doesn’t is still largely anecdotal and there is now a need to understand the current state of knowledge within the sector and where evidence gaps still exist.
