The exact dates of the SuSanA meeting shall be conveyed at a later date, but it will most likely be just before AfricaSan3. Pathways to Sustainable SanitationThis document is a follow-up of the SuSanA Visions Document and provides a number of recommendations on how to bring sustainable sanitation to scale. It was presented at the World Water Week 2009 and forms the basis for key messages from SuSanA that were presented at the African Water Week in 2009. It lays out 8 action oriented "stepping stones" towards up-scaling sustainable sanitation. We are asking the SuSanA community for their endorsement of this document as part of a series of documents forming the SuSanA Roadmap. Kindly address your feedback by 19 March 2011 to the SuSanA secretariat at This email address is being protected from spambots. To communicate with other members in your working group you can send an email to the entire working group by using one specific e-mail address (see below). The e-mails will be moderated by the respective working group lead before forwarding them to the rest of the members. If you want to join a working group (or to make other changes to your SuSanA account seeting), please visit the internal area of the SuSanA website and go to “Change your details” http://www.susana.org/lang-en/your-details.This feature is presently available for the following four working groups (for information on these working groups, see: http://www.susana.org/lang-en/working-groups): • WG 02 - Costs & economics (moderator: Jonathan Parkinson, IWA and Philipp Feiereisen, GIZ) • WG 07 - Community, rural and schools (with gender and social aspects) - (moderator: Claudia Wendland, WECF) • WG 08 - Emergency and reconstruction situations (moderator: Ase Johannesen and Belinda Abraham) • WG 10 - Operation and maintenance (moderator: Guenter Langergraber, BOKU) Also, we encourage you to register yourself to the internal area of the SuSanA website (http://www.susana.org/lang-en/login).
